Iran Press/Iran news: According to the Seismological Center of the Geophysics Institute of the University of Tehran, the tremor occurred at 13:41 local time (9:09 GMT).

The epicenter of the earthquake was located 12 km from Damavand-Rudehen.

There have been no immediate reports about damage or casualties caused by the earthquake.
