Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif discussed the latest developments in Afghanistan, including the peace process in the country, with his Qatari counterpart on Saturday.

Iran Press/Iran News: During the phone conversation between Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, the top diplomats exchanged views also the developments in the Afghan peace process and the Islamic Republic of Iran's efforts to reach a political understanding and the formation of an inclusive government in Afghanistan.

During the talks, Zarif congratulates his Qatari counterpart of the Islamic states on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan.

Earlier this morning, speaking with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani by telephone, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani congratulated the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan.

Rouhani and the Emir of Qatar also described the Tehran-Doha relations and cooperation as positive and developing and stressed the need to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between the two countries. 101
