Iran Press/Iran News: On the occasion of the Islamic Republic Day in Iran, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani wrote on his twitter account, “The Islamic Republic means the peak of a leader's belief in the power and position of people. When you demand people's votes and do not ignore their rights despite the people's full trust and confidence, you become a charismatic leader that people give you the greatest welcome and attention in history.”
“Happy 12 of Farvardin, the Islamic Republic Day,” Shamkhani added.
On Tuesday, Iran celebrates the 41st anniversary of the outset of the Islamic Republic as the country’s official ruling system, which was approved by the overwhelming majority of Iranians in a landmark referendum back on April 1, 1979.
