Tehran (IP) - Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani had separate phone calls with his counterparts in Kuwait and Oman to explain Iran's measures in fighting with coronavirus.

Iran Press/Iran news: Explaining Iran's measures in fighting with the spread of coronavirus, Ali Larijani said, "More regional cooperation and exchange of experiences in this field can prevent the spread of coronavirus."

He also referred to regional upheavals and underlined the importance of political talks among Islamic countries, Iran Press reported.

Marzouq Al-Ghanim, Kuwait's parliament speaker stressed Kuwait's readiness to fight with coronavirus and said that the supply of equipment and extensive cooperation among neighbor countries help to accelerate the elimination of coronavirus.

In a separate call with Oman's parliament speaker, Khalid Al Maawali, the Omani side said that continued talks between Iran and Oman about regional developments, sustainable security and stability in the region and mutual cooperation in the field of coronavirus are essential.

Since the outbreak of coronavirus in China, more than 114,000 people are known to be infected across the world, more than 4,000 deaths have been recorded.
