Iran deals Jaish al-Adl terrorist outfit a big blow

Zahedan (IP) - The Intelligence Office of Sistan and Baluchestan Province in Southeastern Iran announced the identification and destruction of a terrorist group affiliated with the Jaish al-Adl terrorist outfit.

Iran Press/Iran News: The Intelligence Office of Sistan and Baluchestan Province on Sunday released a statement announcing that the Jaish al-Adl terrorist outfit was trapped by Iran's security forces upon its arrival to Iran.

According to the statement in addition to seizing weapons and ammunition and bombs making tools, Iranian security forces also killed the operational leader of the terrorist group, Elias Naroui, nicknamed 'Zubair'. 

The mentioned terrorist was aimed at identifying military and security targets in Zahedan namely Salman IRGC base and conducting terrorist operations, he noted.

Elias Naroui played a key role in numerous terrorist operations, including the attack on Nikshahr and the martyrdom of two Islamic  Revolution Guards Corps’  forces, participation in a bus blast in Zahedan, and the martyrdom of IRGC's 27 forces and planting a sonic bomb in front of the Zahedan police station. 

Elias Naroui intended to design and execute terrorist operations by identifying military and security targets in the city of Zahedan, including that of the Revolutionary Guards Corps.

Earlier, on February 8, a terrorist team that wanted to detonate the Zahedan police base was arrested by IRGC forces.

During the operation, two terrorists were arrested and the 5 kg-bomb has been discovered.
