The Kuwaiti foreign minister announced the Arab country's readiness to cooperate and send humanitarian aid to Iran to counter Coronavirus.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Jaber Al-Sabah discussed the ways of countering Coronavirus in a Friday phone conservation. 

Mohammad Javad Zarif appreciated Kuwait's aid offer, called for regional and global cooperation in the fight against the virus, outlined Iran's actions in this regard and announced Iran's readiness to cooperate and exchange experiences to eradicate the disease.

The coronavirus, which has spread to more than 86 countries, was first detected late last year in Wuhan and surrounding the Hubei province of China. 

More than 3,300 people have died and over 96,000 have been infected worldwide. The vast majority of cases are in China.
