Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran's freestyle wrestling team won eight medals as the champion of the Asian Wrestling Championship.
The 33rd edition of the 2020 Asian Wrestling Championships was held on February 22 and 23 in the Indian city of New Delhi.
Finally, Iran was recognized as the winner of the Asian wrestling championship with 2 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze medals and earning 168 points.
The teams from India and Kazakhstan came in second and third with 159 and 146 points, respectively. Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, South Korea, and Iraq ranked fourth to tenth.
