Islamic Revolution, a permanent model for oppressed: Top Commander

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Army Chief Commander said with its democratic and spiritual-based system, the Islamic Revolution has turned into a permanent model for the oppressed, truth- and freedom-seeking nations of the world.

Iran PressIran news: On the threshold of the 41st anniversary of the victory of Islamic Revolution in 1979, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi expressed congratulation on the ten-day-dawn-ceremonies and said the Islamic Revolution led to the creation of Resistance Axis which has so far thwarted the plots of terrorists and alien forces in the region.

Iranian top commander stressed that the Islamic Revolution is progressing in the world, and in spite of its hostile enemies especially the world arrogant powers led by the US, it continues its progress. 

Saturday, February 1, 2020, is the beginning of Fajr, the  ten-day-dawn ceremony of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.

41 years ago on February 1, 1979, the late Founder of Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini returned to Iran from a 15-year exile in France and was welcomed enthusiastically by people.

After the passage of 10 days from Imam Khomeini's arival, Iran's Islamic Revolution gained victory on February 11, 1979, and this 10-day period was named 'dawn' (or Fajr in Persian), and the Iranian nation celebrates it every year.
