Iran's Foreign Ministry summoned the Kuwaiti charge d'affaires in Tehran on Saturday to protest hosting a conference of anti-Iranian groups by the Arab country.

Iran Press/Iran News: The Ministry summoned the envoy to protest against Kuwait's embrace of a conference against the Islamic Republic, and the reception of terrorist leaders in groups opposing Iran, and the statements of some Kuwaiti officials hostile to Iran," a statement issued by the Iranian Foreign Ministry reads.

According to the statement, "The Foreign Ministry delivered a strongly-worded protest note to the Charge d'Affaires, and the Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for Persian Gulf Affairs, Ali Reza Enayati, condemned the Kuwaiti behaviour and considered it a clear case of interference in Iran's internal affairs and a violation of the principle of good-neighbourliness," Iran Press reported.

Enayati said the official statements issued by Kuwait showed Kuwait's hostility towards Tehran. 101/211
