Tehran (IP) - The change of Iran's Health System has brought about a great amount of saving in the country's budget, says top parliamentarian.

Iran PressIran news: Chairman of Iran's Parliament Committee of Health, Ali Nobakht who represents Tehran, Rey and Shemiranat, said during his address on Tuesday in open session that the medicine import has been banned thanks to Iran's Minister of Health Saeed Namaki's efforts, a lot of budget has been reduced and in return a lot of money has been saved.  

Nobakht went on to explain further that before Namaki's measures, some 900 billion Tomans were spent for medicine import however it has been reduced to only 60 billion Tomans.

Calling the move as a great help for the Iranian manufacturer of the medicines, Iran's senior Parliamentarian concluded that the plan of the change of Iran's Health System has led to the great amount of saving in the country's budget.
