Iranian parliamentary speaker highlighted the MP's concerns over lessening the pressure on underprivileged members of the society as far as economic conditions are concerned.

Iran PressIran news: In an interview with the press on the sideline of the closed session of Iran's parliament (Majlis) held on Monday (Oct. 7), Iranian parliamentary speaker Ali Larijani referred to the time left until the next year's budget announcement and said that the evaluation of the hidden and explicit energy subsidies and how they will be paid, have been submitted to the budget commission.

Larijani stated that the major concern of all the members of parliament is to not only alleviate the existing pressure on the underprivileged members of the society in a gradual wayو but also to make sure the country's production is not harmed under any circumstances, Iran Press reported.

The speaker stressed that the evaluation plan and along with the tax issues are the ways to diminish the country's dependence on oil revenues.
