Tehran (IP) - Iran's First Vice President said that 18000 billion Iranian tomans have been allocated for creating job opportunities in rural areas which are helpful in flourishing their economy and improving the country's economy as a result.

Iran Press/Iran news:  Iran's First Vice President Es'haq Jahangiri  said in an interview with Iran press news agency, regarding how to stop villagers and nomads' immigration to cities, that "There are many job creating projects for villagers and local tribes and around 18000 billion Tomans have been allocated for creating job opportunities in rural areas and those interested in rural production can use the benefit of these plans which are helpful in flourishing rural economy and improving the country's economy as a result."

"The allocated budget has already been warmly welcomed by all the economic activists, who have done excellent activities and performance in this regard  through spending the budget," Jahangiri added.

"According to the recent report, 150 thousand individuals could successfully  find the job  and I hope that the rest of the budget could be helpful in increasing job opportunities," he continued.

Jahangiris' remarks came on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the fourth exhibition of Villagers and Nomadic Capabilities held at Tehran’s Permanent Fairground on Thursday.

The event was atteneded by Iran's First Vice President Es'hagh Jahangiri, Tehran's governor, Anoushirvan Mohseni Bandpei and Iranian Vice President for Women's and Family Affairs, Ma'soumeh Ebtekar attending the opening ceremony.

The exhibition aims to introduce cultural and touristic attractions of the Iranian villages, serving as a platform for villagers and nomads to find a market for their products.
