Tehran (IP) - Iranian parliament (Majlis) approved the returning back of the unlawful earnings of the authorities which will be investigated in legal courts.

Iran Press/Iran news: The open session of the Iranian parliament convened on Tuesday morning, in which parliamentarians in the Majlis voted on act 4 of the plan of returning back of the unlawful earnings of the authorities which will be investigated in legal courts on Tuesday, June 25. 

In the actual vote 143 lawmakers voted yes, 34 voted against the returning back of the unlawful earnings, and there were 10 abstentions out of a total of 214 MPs present, reported Iran Press.

According to this act, ‘the unlawful earnings’ are the earnings made by misusing the position which the person is holding and the special information he has access to and the profits of the unlawful earnings are also included in the legislation.
