The Iranian Government Spokesman has stressed that the United States has not gifted democracy, development, and security to any country in the world.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking at his weekly press conference in Tehran on Monday, Iran's Government Spokesman Ali Rabiei strongly admonished the United States for turning medicines and food into a pressure lever.

Rabiei said that it is totally immoral and reprehensible to try to use medicines and food as a weapon to put pressure on a country, and the United States should be ashamed that it has stooped to such low levels and using such tactics.

Rouhani's letters to Saudi Arabia

"President Rouhani has written and sent several letters to Saudi Arabia, all of them have been based on peace. We are seeking cultural and economic bilateralism and multilateralism in the region", Rabiei noted.

"The US seeks its interests in the region and would leave the region if its demands wouldn't be met. Iran has sought and seeks bilateralism and multilateralism which would boost the region's economy", the official added.

Turning to 4 November (13 Aban) national rallies and demonstrations, Ali Rabiei said marches and demonstrations signify Iran's independence, power, and victory over the arrogant powers.

Rabiei said: "4 November 13 Aban is the day of national unity and the day of fighting the bullying, colonialist, and arrogant powers."
