Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and President of the World Economic Forum Børge Brende met on the sidelines of the United Nations 79th meeting.

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi discussed local time on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly with the President of the World Economic Forum on Friday.

Yesterday, in continuation of his bilateral consultations, Araghchi met and talked with the foreign ministers of Iraq, Australia, South Korea, Brunei Darussalam, Australia, Oman, Poland, Germany, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia.

Araghchi traveled to New York to participate in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, at the head of a high-ranking delegation, along with Majid Takht Ravanchi and Kazem Gharibabadi, his political, legal and international deputies.

The 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly was opened on Tuesday, September 24th. Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, gave a speech on the first day of the session and expressed Iran's positions and views.
