Tehran (IP)- Iran's Foreign Minister hailed the stance of the head of the African Union Commission, toward the Israeli war crimes.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, in his Wednesday letter to the head of the African Union Commission, appreciated Moussa Faki's condemnation of the bombardment of the Al-Ahli hospital in northern Gaza. 

The bombardment took place in mid-October, simultaneous with the massive Israeli onslaught in the enclave.

The Iranian foreign minister also appreciated Faki's views toward requesting an immediate cease-fire in the enclave and sending humanitarian aid to the Gazans. 

Further in the letter, the Iranian diplomat called on more practical steps in the issue of Palestine. 

Pointing to the responsibilities of the international bodies to halt the Israeli war crimes, Amir Abdollahian also called for the efforts to be continued until the full stop of the Israeli war crimes and lifting the blockade of the Gaza Strip. 219
