Lebanon (IP) - The Iranian Foreign Minister said the real owners of Palestine are its people and the post-war Palestine belongs to the Palestinian nation.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Lebanon's Prime Minister Najib Mikati exchanged views on Saturday on the latest regional and international developments.

During the meeting, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said the Palestinians are the real owners of Palestine and they are the ones who should make decisions for Palestine and its future, and we know that they have plans and political initiatives for the post-war phase as well.

While emphasizing Iran's strong support for the stability, security, and unity of Lebanon, FM Amir-Abdollahian that some people tried to discriminate between the Lebanese government and nation, and the Lebanese Resistance, but they failed.

He appreciated Lebanon for supporting Resistance in Palestine and highlighted the Islamic Republic's emphasis on supporting Palestine resistance as in the past, noting that at the same time, in the last 4 months, Iran tried to stop the Israeli attacks on Gaza.

The Iranian FM touched on the US and British attacks on Yemen; he called the attacks a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Yemen and provocative acts to support the Israeli regime and increase the risk of aggravating the crisis in the region.

He also referred to the attacks as in contradiction to the US claims to stop expanding the scope of the war in the region, while it has not even reduced its weapons shipment to Israel.

Amir-Abdollahian said today's developments in Gaza are moving towards a political solution, but it is the Israeli PM Netanyahu who still seeks the solution in war to save himself.

The Palestinians are the real owners of Palestine and they are the ones who should make decisions for Palestine and its future, and we know that they have plans and political initiatives for the post-war phase as well, Iran's FM recalled.

He called on everyone to find a political solution to end Israel's attacks and war crimes against Palestinians as soon as possible.
