The Iranian women had defeated the UAE 16-0, Kyrgyzstan 6-0, and India 10-0 at the Gorodskoi Katok in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
The 2024 IIHF Women's Asia and Oceania Cup is an international women's ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).
The edition of the tournament took place from March 24 to 30 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
The tournament followed a single round-robin format.
