Iran news: According to Iran Press news agency, chairman of national security and foreign policy commission of Iranian Parliament, Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh, said that "Saudi's blockade of Yemen has practically prevented the sending of humanitarian aid to the people of the country, which is under severe and critical conditions, therefore, solutions should be considered as soon as possible by governments and international relief agencies."
Falahatpisheh made the remarks in a meeting with International Committee for Red Cross (ICRC) Regional Director for Near and Middle East, Fabrizio Carboni on Sunday in Tehran.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is always ready to cooperate in providing humanitarian assistance or facilitating the activities of relief agencies such as the International Committee of the Red Cross, Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh added.
Referring to the good record of the Islamic Republic of Iran's relations with the International Committee of the Red Cross, Falahatpisheh added: "Because of being in the region of the Middle East and facing many crisis, and the experiences during the eight years of the imposed war, Iran has always been ready for humanitarian assistance, and has collaborated with the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Appreciating the humanitarian aid of Islamic Republic of Iran to the victims of various incidents in the Middle East and other regions of the world, Fabrizio Carboni, on his part said that "Iran's experiences and the proper understanding of the situation of the victims of various incidents and their needs play an important role in providing humanitarian assistance to the injured."
"There are various difficulties in helping the victims of the war in Syria and Yemen, and the Islamic Republic of Iran has a special position in facilitating Red Cross aid," Carboni added.
