Iran Press/Iran news: Referring to the history of the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) and recalling the group's complicity with Saddam's regime against Iran, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman described the group's continued presence and activity in France as a violation of the French government's international legal obligations and UN Security Council Resolution 1373, as well as contrary to the "fundamental principles of international law concerning friendly relations and cooperation among states based on the UN Charter."
Baghaei stressed that France's appeasement and selective approach to terrorism is a "violating act" that gives rise to the international responsibility of the French government and is completely reprehensible and unacceptable from a moral and human rights perspective.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman stressed the need for all governments to adhere to their international legal obligations in the field of preventing and combating terrorism and refraining from any assistance to the organization and financing of terrorism and called on the French government to fulfill these obligations.
