On the 'Day of Gaza, Symbol of Resistance,' Esmaeil Baqaei, Head of the Center for Public Diplomacy and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, paid tribute to the innocent Palestinian children, women, and men who have fallen victim to the "colonial erasure" project by the occupying regime over the past 16 months.

Iran Press/Iran news: In his post on X, Baqaei honored the heroic resistance of the people of Gaza against genocide and apartheid. He emphasized that the struggle for self-determination and liberation from colonial occupation is a legitimate human right under international law.

"The fight against the impunity of the occupying regime, which continuously perpetrates war crimes and crimes against humanity, is a global responsibility under international humanitarian law," he asserted.

This commemoration comes amid ongoing discussions about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where casualties have reached alarming levels due to prolonged conflict.

The Iranian government continues to express solidarity with the Palestinian cause and calls for international action against violations of human rights.
