Iran Press/ Asia: The 24th edition of the championship, held in Santa Rosa, Philippines, concluded today (Sunday) with Iran among the top three. The tournament, which began on Wednesday, November 7, saw Iran’s team face China in the bronze medal match, winning 2-0 to secure their spot on the podium.
This victory marked Iran's sixth win of the tournament and earned the country its 11th medal in Asian men's beach volleyball history. This year’s bronze is also a milestone for the Iranian team, as it is the first time they have earned a bronze medal in this championship.
Previously, Iran's beach volleyball team won two gold medals and one silver in its 20-year participation in the Asian championship.
