Tehran (IP)- The head of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization Hujjat al-Islam Mehdi Imanipour, in a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Culture of China, said that Iran and China are determined to develop cultural relations in all directions.

Iran Press/Iran news:  A three-year memorandum of cultural exchange between Tehran and Beijing was signed in Tehran on Sunday in the presence of Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour, The head of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization, and Lu Ying Chuang, the deputy minister of culture and tourism of China.

Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of China, heading a delegation has come to Tehran to participate in the second joint culture committee of Iran and China.

In this meeting, Imanipour said: Considering the interest of the two countries to develop relations, it is hoped that this program will lay the foundation for the development of bilateral relations.

Imanipour added: "We have passed the U.S. order for the world, the two countries can create a new world order with new cooperation."

The Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of China also said in this meeting: We are trying to expand cultural and artistic relations.

Iran and China inked a memorandum of understanding over cultural exchange on Oct.29, 2023, validating since 2027.

The head of Iran's Islamic Culture and Relations Organization expressed his satisfaction with expanding more ties with China in various fields mainly cultural, political, and economic.

Highlighting Iran and China long long-lasting relationship, Mohammad-Mehdi Imanipour noted that cultural ties are effective in today's world, so any opportunities must be used.

Also for his part, the Chinese Vice Minister of Culture and Tourism said that China and Iran ties indicate how deep their ties are.

China Lu Yingchuan pointed out that China welcomes mutual tourism, documentary, book translation, and filmmaking. He stressed to enhance ties with Iran.
