Tehran (IP) - Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade said that the capacities required for developing trade between Iran and Belarus have been created.

Iran PressIran news: Reza Fatemi Amin made the remarks in a meeting with the Minister of Industry of Belarus, Rogozhnik Alexander Nikolaevich.

Referring to the cooperation of the Export Guarantee Fund of Iran with its Belarusian counterpart and the agreement of Belarusian banks with an Iranian bank and their connection to the Sepam system for the possibility of money transfer and LC (letter of credit), he said that creating the capacities for developing trade between the two countries has been created.

"With the full accession of Iran to the Eurasian Economic Union (less than a year from now), 80% of tariffs between the two countries will be zero," he added.

"In order to increase trade and economic exchanges between the two countries, 4 infrastructures are needed, of which 3 ones have been provided and one more infrastructure will be created within a year," he said, continuing: "The first infrastructure is well-established financial and banking relations. The second one is transportation (cargo-airline), in which its agreements have been finalized, and the third case is that the Iranian and Belarusian companies find each other and cooperate with each other, and these three infrastructures have advanced well so far."

Meanwhile, Nikolaevich said: "When both countries have been subjected to heavy and cruel sanctions, we should make a double effort to announce that other countries cannot harm friendly countries by defeating sanctions."

Expressing the happiness that Iran is developing, he said that he saw many developments in transportation and other issues.
