Iran Press/Iran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Wednesday, Mohammad Eslami said the investigation of the Ukrainian plane crash is not a political issue, but a merely technical one which has its own special procedure, being examined in a committee consisting of Iranian and Ukrainian
delegations.
Eslami maintained that the investigations done in Iran would cover the study of all aspects of the flight, with the plane documents and pieces that must be examined.
He remarked that the important point was that the investigations were done under three rubrics, the final step of which was the concordance the plane memory with the documents and investigation, coordinated with the Ukrainian party.
Still, he said, a France-based Laboratory, having a record of cooperation with Iran and Ukraine and is confirmed by ICAO, announced readiness for cooperation.
Ukraine has prepared the conditions for reading the back box, he noted and stressed that any manufacturing company of plane is supposed to prepare the airline flies the plane with the documents and software for reading the black box of the aircraft.
Yet, Eslami said that the Ukrainian party firstly said has not the possibility and later said that the US has provided it with the relevant equipment.
He said that so far no other factor but the corona outbreak has delayed the investigation process over the accident.
The Iranian delegation waits for the final coordination between the groups and read the black box in the first opportunity; if possible, the black box will be investigated in Ukraine, if not it will be transferred to France and will be examined, the Iranian Minister said.
