Iran Press/ West Asia: Goals from Karim Ansarifard, Shoja Khalilzadeh, Mehdi Ghayedi and Sardar Azmoun gave Iran all three points while Tamer Seyam scored a consolation for Palestine, who are still seeking their first win at the Asian Cup.
The match between the two national teams of Iran and Palestine in the Asian Nations Cup started with a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs of Gaza.
Iran will also meet Hong Kong and the UAE on Jan. 19 and 23, respectively in Group C.
The Asian Cup started on January 12, with the final scheduled to be held on February 10.
