In a key development during the eighth meeting of the Iran-Turkey Agricultural Strategic Committee held in Ankara, officials from both nations signed a draft agreement on bilateral cooperation.

Iran PressIran News:  The draft memorandum of understanding was signed by the agriculture ministers of Iran and Turkey. The finalization of the agreement is expected during Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's upcoming visit to Iran.

Iranian Minister of Agriculture, Gholamreza Nouri Ghezeljeh, led a high-level economic delegation to Ankara at the invitation of Turkey’s Minister of Agriculture, İbrahim Yumaklı.

The delegation included representatives and executives from over 180 Iranian companies actively engaged in the agricultural and food industries, highlighting the significance of economic collaboration in this sector between the two neighboring countries.

The agreement is seen as a step forward in enhancing strategic agricultural ties and strengthening trade relations in the region.
