Iran Press/ Iran news: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in a message to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Imam Ali Rahman, congratulating him on the anniversary of the country's independence, announced that the main priority of the Islamic Republic of Iran is to expand relations with the countries of the region, especially countries that speak the same language and have a common culture, history and religion.
In this message, Pezeshkian added: "Iran is ready to sincerely cooperate with Tajikistan in various fields as in the past.:
Iran was among the first countries to recognize the independence of Tajikistan and was the first country to open its embassy in Dushanbe.
