Iran Press/ Iran news: On Tuesday, September 29, The Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in his remarks at the UN General Assembly called on the international community to urge Iran to respond to the calls for a settlement of the dispute over three islands in the Persian Gulf region.
In response, the Spokesman said, "Iran's sovereignty over the Iranian islands of Abu Musa, Greater and Lesser Tunbs is incontestable, and all of Iran's actions have taken place within the framework of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and are not any foreign governments' business."
Khatibzadeh added that such statements and the repetition of baseless claims did not and will not affect Iran's sovereignty and have no legal value.
While condemning the UAE's destructive interventions in some countries and its active role in the wars, the Spokesman said Abu Dhabi's normalization of relation with the oppressor, belligerent and crisis-creating regime Israel has turned the UAE into part of the crisis in West Asia.
