Tehran (IP) - Following the Israeli fighter's strikes on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, the Iranian and Syrian Foreign Ministers discussed the terrorist attack in a telephone conversation on Monday evening.

Iran PressIran news: The Iranian consulate building near the Iranian Embassy in the Syrian capital of Damascus came under an Israeli missile strike on Monday afternoon, with reports of casualties as a result of the aggression. 

The Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal al-Mikdad strongly condemned the Israeli air strike and considered it a violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.

In this conversation, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has completely gotten into a frenzy due to the consecutive failures of this regime in Gaza and not achieving the ambitious goals it pursues. 

Amir-Abdollahian the Zionist regime accountable for the terrorist attack and emphasized the need for a serious response by the international community to such terrorist actions. 219
