Holding a meeting, the Iranian and Sudanese Ministers of Finance talked about the expansion of economic relations between the two countries.

Iran PressIran news: Jibril Ibrahim Muhammad Fudail, Sudan's Minister of Finace and Economic Planning, arrived in Tehran on Wednesday evening while heading an economic delegation and met with his Iranian counterpart.

During the meeting, the two sides emphasized the readiness of their respective governments to expand bilateral relations, including the economic ties.

Fudail highlighted his country's capacities including fertile soil for agriculture and rich mines, and pointed to them as fortunes of investment for Iran. 

He announced the tendency of Sudanese government and people to develop economic relations and cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With 45 million of population, 97 of whom Muslims, Sudan is located in northeastern Africa and thanks to the Nile River it enjoys a fertile soil and livestock products as well as rich mineral resources, especially gold.
