Iran Press/Iran news:According to Iran press, Saudi Arabia's foreign minister and Iran's acting foreign minister discussed the relations between the two countries and the latest developments in the region.
Ali Bagheri, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Faisal Bin Farhan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, consulted and talked to each other over the phone.
According to Iran press, Saudi Arabia's foreign minister and Iran's acting foreign minister discussed the relations between the two countries and the latest developments in the region.
Iran Egypt FMs Telephone conversation
According to Iran press, in another telephone conversation with the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Ali Bagheri, while thanking him for his presence at the inauguration ceremony of Iranian president, said:
" The martyrdom of the tireless combatant Ismail Haniyeh, while he was an official guest of the Islamic Republic of Iran is a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and it is appropriate for all Islamic countries in the region to take action to counter this terrorist aggression.
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized on the emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation at the level of foreign ministers in order to condemn and confront the criminal actions of the occupying Al-Quds regime.
" Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Aaty the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt while thanking the Islamic Republic of Iran for hosting him in the inauguration ceremony of the new president of Iran, said:
"In its official statement, Egypt condemned the criminal act of the Zionist regime in the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh."
The Egyptian Foreign Minister also supported the initiative of the Islamic Republic of Iran in holding an urgent meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to deal with the terrorist actions of the Zionist regime.
Earlier , Ali Bagheri also had a telephone call with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan over phone.203
