Moscow(IP)- The document of joint action between Iran and Russia in combating economic corruption, enforcing the rights of the citizens of the two countries and supporting production and entrepreneurship was signed by the head of Iran's General Inspection Organization and the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation.

Iran Press/ Europe: According to Iran Press news agency from Moscow, "Zabihullah Khodaiyan ", the head of the General Inspection Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran and "Igor Krasnov", the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, signed a joint action document in fighting corruption, enforcing the rights of citizens of the two countries, and supporting production and entrepreneurship which is the road map for the implementation of memorandum they signed last year.

Khodaiyan who traveled to Moscow to participate in the meeting of heads of inspection organizations and regulatory bodies of the Eurasian Union and BRICS member countries, met and consulted with "Igor Krasnov", the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, before signing this document.

 

Combating economic corruption

 

In this meeting, which was attended by the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia and members of the two countries' delegations, the two sides discussed ways to develop cooperation to monitor the performance of public and private institutions and organizations to defend the rights of citizens.

In this meeting, the head of the General Inspection Organization, while presenting a report on the fight against economic corruption, helping entrepreneurs and economic activists, and reviving the closed production units, said: "The Inspection Organization of Iran, in addition to all its supervisory duties, especially in line with the observance of citizen's rights, pursues combating diverse forms of economic corruption seriously.

 

Stating that the Islamic Republic of Iran has been under the most severe sanctions of the United States and the West for more than four decades, the Iranian official said: "Iran and Russia, as two countries under the sanctions of the United States and the West, can expand their cooperation in all fields so that they can overcome the effects and consequences of the cruel sanctions."

 

Khodaiyan added: "While the Zionist regime has massacred more than 40,000 women, children and innocent people in a small strip called Gaza with American weapons, unfortunately, human rights institutions have remained silent and turned a blind eye to the barbaric crimes of the Zionist regime and the United States."

 

New page of bilateral ties

 

Referring to the determination of the leaders of the two countries to increase the level of relations to strategic relations, the Prosecutor General of Russia said for his part: "Soon, with the signing of the comprehensive long-term strategic cooperation agreement between Iran and Russia, we will witness a new page of bilateral relations."

Igor Krasnov said about the closeness of the views of the two countries regarding regional and international issues and the common interests of Tehran and Moscow: "Iran's joining the BRICS group is considered a new capacity to develop cooperation in a multilateral format and in line with unilateralism."

The Russian official considered the imposition of sanctions against independent countries as one of the basic tools of the United States and the Western world to weaken independent countries and said: "American sanctions should be neutralized with bilateral cooperation and convergence and in the form of other mechanisms such as BRICS, Shanghai and the Eurasian Union." 300
