Tehran(IP): The preliminary agreement on comprehensive health cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation was signed on the sidelines of the closing ceremony of the 17th meeting of the Joint Economic Cooperation Commission.

Iran PressIran news:   According to Iran press from the Ministry of Health, the agreement on comprehensive health cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation was signed by Mohammad Hossein Niknam, Special Assistant to the Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, and Sergey Glagolev , Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, in order to develop cooperation between the two countries.

This document was compiled following several rounds of specialized negotiations between the Ministries of Health of the two countries and lays the groundwork for cooperation between the parties in various fields, including joint supply and production of drugs and medical equipment, health research, new and digital technologies, medical education, academic cooperation, training of health professionals, and Management of communicable and non-communicable diseases.
