The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran consulted with the Foreign Minister of Qatar regarding the developments in Gaza in Doha.

Iran PressWest Asia: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who arrived in Qatar's capital Doha, met with Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. 

This meeting was focused on the establishment of a 4-day ceasefire and the exchange of information. Also, the Iranian Foreign Minister emphasized the need to intensify the cooperation of Arab and Islamic countries to end the killing of the oppressed people of Gaza by the Israeli regime.

In his meeting with Amir-Abdollahian, the Foreign Minister of Qatar also pointed out the importance of consultations between the two countries to help resolve the current crisis in occupied Palestine and appreciated the Islamic Republic of Iran for its efforts to end the war in Gaza and said: "The issue of Palestine is related to the Islamic world and the efforts should be continued for a permanent ceasefire and to lift the siege." 219
