The new Prime Minister of Pakistan, appreciating the congratulatory message of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said that Tehran and Islamabad are determined to cooperate closely for the development of each other's countries and the region.

Iran Press/Asia: The Pakistani prime minister appreciated Iran's President Ebrahim Raeisi on his re-election's congratulatory message, noting that the two neighbors are resolved to work closely in line with their interests and for a better region.

The Pakistani PM wrote on his X social platform account, “Received a congratulatory call from my brother Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. We reaffirmed our resolve to work closely for the betterment of our countries and the region.”

Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi congratulated the new Pakistani premier on Monday in a phone call, expressing hope that mutual ties between the two nations will expand in the new era and with the tact of the heads of state in Tehran and Islamabad.

Raisi expressed Iran's readiness to expand all-out relations with Pakistan in all fields.  

During the phone conversation, Shehbaz Sharif said that his government is waiting for President Raisi’s visit to Pakistan as soon as possible. 219
