Iran Press/ Iran news: Hamad Albusaidi, Omani Foreign Minister, and Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi attended a joint press conference in Tehran on Monday.
Albusaidi the head of a senior delegation arrived in Tehran Early on Monday.
The latest mutual ties including commercial and political and recent developments in the region were on the agenda of the two side discussions.
Later on Monday, two foreign ministers attended a joint press conference.
Araghchi: There is no exchange of messages via Oman
Araghchi rejected speculations that the Oman Foreign Minister carrying a message from the US and said that there is no exchange of messages between Iran and the US.
Iranian Foreign minister added, "We have a very close approach with our Omani friends regarding regional issues, and today we had extensive consultations about Gaza and Zionist crimes in the region."
Araghchi also stated: "We discussed the occupation of Syrian territories and the attacks on the infrastructure of this country by the Israeli regime. We agreed that a ceasefire in Gaza must happen immediately, and international aid should reach to Gaza."
Regarding Syria, Araghchi emphasized: "The territorial integrity, respect for all beliefs and religions, and the establishment of an inclusive government in Syria are vital. We all desire peace and an end to the occupation of Syrian land, especially by the Zionist regime."
Araghchi condemned the Zionist regime's attacks on Yemen.
Albusaidi: I Am Carrying a Message for President Pezeshkian
Oman's Foreign Minister in his turn said that he is carrying a message for President Pezeshkian adding that: "This message emphasizes the expansion of relations between the two countries and the securing of interests for both nations and the region."
Omani Foreign Minister stated: "Iran and Oman agreed to increase trade and investment between the two countries."
Badr al-Busaidi added: "In our meeting, we discussed regional and international developments, as well as the situation in Syria and Lebanon."
He stated: "We talked about the issue of Palestine, supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, and the efforts of the Palestinian people for independence, freedom, and peace."
