Officials of Kazakhstan and Iran signed a cooperation document to increase bilateral trade turnover to 3 billion dollars.

Iran PressIran news: According to the Iran Press news agency on Tuesday, this cooperation document was signed by Serik Jumangarin, Acting Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan, and Iran's Minister of Agriculture Mohammad Ali Nikbakht at the 19th meeting of the State Commission for Commercial, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Iran, which was held in Tehran.

According to Mohammad Ali Nikbakht, Minister of Agriculture of Iran, Iranian companies can export fish and dairy products, honey, fruits and vegetables, medicinal plants, dried fruits, and other food products to Kazakhstan.

Iran's Minister of Agricultural Jihad also showed interest in investing in Kazakhstan and voiced his readiness to create special conditions for trade in Iran's free economic zones.

Jumangarin, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, said, "Kazakh companies are interested in exporting non-food products to the Iranian market."

Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan added: "Kazakh manufacturers are ready to supply products to Iranian consumers for 75 items."
