The Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of Iran and the Minister of Tourism of Indonesia stressed the expansion of bilateral cooperation.

Ali Asghar Shalbafian, Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of Iran, after attending the meeting of the Association of Managers of Tourism Groups and Travel Agencies of Indonesia, talked with Martini, the Minister of Tourism of Indonesia, about the topics of interest in the field of tourism.

In this meeting, Shalbafian, referring to the Iran-Indonesia tourism conference, emphasized the importance of this event in promoting bilateral cooperation.

The Deputy Minister of Tourism of Indonesia emphasized taking advantage of the available opportunities and considered the cooperation between the museums of the two countries to be effective in expanding the communication between the two nations in the field of tourism.

Also, at the end of this meeting, a memorandum of understanding on tourism cooperation was signed between the trade unions of the two countries. Then the managers of tourism institutions entered into individual negotiations with each other.
