Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Road and Urban Development and Indian Foreign Minister finalized an agreement with China to develop the Chabahar Port in the southeast of Iran.

The Iranian Minister Mehrdad Bazrpash proposed at the meeting the formation of a joint transportation committee to expand the relevant cooperation between the two countries. 

Bazrpash said that the committee would activate the transit capacities of Iran and India would cause the use of the North-South Corridor.

The Indian FM Subramaniam Jaishankar, for his part, expressed his country's readiness to have new investments in transit and transportation in Iran.

Jaishankar invited the Iranian road minister to visit India. 204
