IP - Commander of the Iranian Navy Rear Admiral Shahram Irani announced Joint naval drills with China and Russia by the end of March.

Iran PressIran news: According to Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, the preliminary date of the exercise is set for March 19.

In addition to Russia and China, the Iranian side has invited several other countries to participate in the military maneuvers.

"The exercises will be held to ensure regional security and realize common interests," the Iranian Navy commander noted.

In March 2023, naval forces from the three allied countries carried out a joint drill in the Sea of Oman, code-named Security Bond-2023.

The commander further said that the Navy, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces, plans to add several ships to its naval fleet by mid-March.
