Iran Press/Iran news: Majid Takht-Ravanchi mentioned his meeting with his Belarusian counterpart in Tehran on his official X account. He wrote: "Within the framework of political consultations between Deputy Foreign Ministers of Iran and Belarus, I had a friendly and constructive meeting with Belarusian First Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergey Lukashevich, in Tehran today."
He added, "We covered different aspects of our bilateral relations, focusing mainly on economic cooperation. Iran and Belarus are determined to continue cooperation for the interests of the people of both countries and maintenance of regional and international peace and security."
Lukashevich, who is visiting Tehran, met and held talks with Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi yesterday.
During the meeting, Lukashevich underscored the friendly relations between Iran and Belarus. He stressed the importance of ongoing bilateral consultations to bolster ties and aid in addressing regional and international issues.
