Iran Press/Asia: Khalid Qaddumi, spokesman for Hamas and the chief guest of the conference, spoke to Iran Press about the shifting global dynamics. "We waited for forty-seven years, hoping the international community would take action for us, but they failed. So, we decided to take the lead and bring the theory of the Flood (‘Taufan’) on October 7,” he explained. He called for global action to stop Israeli crimes and the ongoing genocide, particularly in Gaza. “We cannot rely on diplomatic tools alone; more substantial measures must be taken to pressure Israel to comply with international laws,” he said.
Qaddumi emphasized Israel's status as a "rogue state" that continues to violate international frameworks. "Israel is not just the enemy of Palestinians, but of global security. They must be stopped,” he asserted, declaring that Israel ceased to exist on October 7. “They have lost morally, diplomatically, and are isolated worldwide,” he said, noting that Israeli soldiers are being killed daily by resistance fighters.
The event also featured donation boxes for Palestine and Lebanon, with enthusiastic participation from Pakistani citizens who bought share coupons to support the cause. Secretary General of the Muslim Unity Council and foreign affairs expert Syed Nasser Shirazi spoke to Iran Press, criticizing the failure of the United Nations and global institutions to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and Palestine. "What we are witnessing in Gaza, Palestine, and Lebanon is a live genocide in human history," he said. "No global institution is stepping forward to help. The West’s patronage, as seen in Syria, is not about political change."
Pakistan's former Minister for Human Rights, Shireen Mazari, condemned the global inaction, stating, "The world is watching, as a genocide unfolds in real-time. For the first time in human history, we are witnessing genocide live on television, and yet nobody is willing to act. This is a tragic sign that the global order based on human rights has ended, and now, it's the power of the powerful."
The Save Gaza Campaign, which provided books, pamphlets, and Palestinian flags to attendees, also displayed videos of the atrocities committed by Israel in Gaza and Lebanon. Former Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, founder of the Save Gaza Campaign, voiced his concerns, saying, "Israel is expanding its borders into Lebanon and Syria, attacking five different countries. Israel is a threat to both regional and global peace." He highlighted reports from Amnesty International and the United Nations confirming the genocide occurring in Gaza.
At the conclusion of the conference, a statement was issued calling on the world community, especially the Muslim Ummah, to take immediate and decisive action to halt Israeli aggression and work toward establishing peace and restoring justice in Palestine and Lebanon.
