The second international conference commemorating Professor Mohammad Hossein Shahriar was held in Istanbul, Turkey, with the participation of professors from universities in Iran and Turkey, and researchers from the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.

Iran Press/Asia: Mohammad Hossein Behjat Tabrizi, known by the pen name Shahriar, is an Iranian poet from Tabriz. He is known for his poetry in Persian, Turkish, and Azerbaijani languages. Shahriar's notable work includes the poem "Heydarbabaye Salam" (Greetings to Heydarbaba), which has been translated into over 80 languages worldwide.

Mohammad Mehdipour, dean of the Faculty of Persian Literature and Foreign Languages ​​at the University of Tabriz, northwest Iran, also praised Shahriar's literary status and said: "Shahriar was not just a skilled poet; he also served as a cultural link between diverse ethnicities and languages. Through his poetry, he portrayed universal human values and made a lasting impact on world literature, transcending linguistic and geographical confines."

Ahmad Mohammadi, the Iranian Consul General in Istanbul, also referred to the distinguished position of this great poet in Iranian literature and said: "Shahriar was a poet who always paid attention to the problems and aspirations of the people and was a herald of purity and sincerity in his poems." 219
