Iran Press/ Iran News: The 30th International Exhibition of the Holy Quran kicked off on Saturday, coinciding with Islamic Republic Day, with the participation of 22 foreign countries.
Attending the event, Iran's Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili said in his speech that the most important mission of the cultural field is the transition of the Islamic Revolution from the stage of the Islamic state to the Islamic society and the realization of the new Islamic civilization, therefore, paying attention to Quranic culture is at the top of the activities with the Quranic teachings being on top priority.
As the next keynote speaker, Niger's Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Handicrafts Mohamed Hamid highlighted that this sort of exhibition (Quran exhibition) can strengthen ties between the Islamic countries.
Hamid added: As Niger's representative to Iran I am proud to announce that Islamic culture has attracted many people in Niger.
He underlined that Niger has established many Islamic universities, and published many books on Islamic teachings.
Also, Mauritania's Islamic Affairs Minister Amar Taleb emphasized said in his speech that holding Quranic exhibitions like the one in Iran enhances Muslim countries' relationships.
The 30th International Exhibition of the Holy Quran kicked off on Apr. 1, 2023, coinciding with Islamic Republic Day, and the 10th day of the blessed month of Ramadan.
