The Indian government announced its position on the developments in Syria in a statement.

Iran Press/Asia: According to the Iran Press Agency from New Delhi, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs wrote in a statement published on the ministry's information website: "We are reviewing the situation in Syria in connection with the current developments in that country. We emphasize the need to maintain the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Syria by all parties in this country."

"We support the political process, and comprehensive peace in Syria while maintaining respect, interests, and aspirations of all sections of society in this country," the statement added.

Armed opposition groups in Syria launched a massive attack on Syrian army positions in various parts of the country on November 27, 2024, with the support of some countries, and Damascus finally fell on Sunday.
