Amir-Abdollahian:

Geneva (IP): The Iranian Foreign Minster warned that If the war is not stopped in Gaza it will make the situation in the region go out of control.

Iran PressEurope: Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has traveled to Geneva to attend the second meeting of the Global Refugee Forum 2023.

According to Iran press Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met and consulted with Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi on the sidelines of the the Global Refugee Forum 2023 in Geneva.

In this meeting, Amir- Abdollahian pointed to the need to increase joint efforts to develop bilateral relations, emphasized the importance of implementing agreements between the top officials of the two countries, and in this regard invited his counterpart to visit Tehran.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran went on to say that the first issue in Gaza is to end the attacks of the Zionist regime.

He further added: sidering the failure of the United States and the Israeli regime to realize any of their declared goals in the war against Gaza, with the continuation of the war, they are seeking to complete their studies and designs for the post-war Gaza."

Ami-r Abdollahian emphasized that America should understand correctly that not stopping the war against Gaza can make the situation more complicated and the situation in the region can get out of control.

In this meeting, Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi also expressed satisfaction with the continuation of joint consultations on bilateral and regional issues, described the situation in Gaza as difficult and worrying, and stressed the need to continue efforts in order to end the attacks against Gaza and stop the war.

Referring to the Summit meeting of heads of Islamic countries in Riyadh, Marsoudi said: "The Riyadh meeting had an important message and that is that Islamic countries are united.

Referring to the result of yesterday's vote in the UN General Assembly, the Indonesian Foreign Minister considered it to be an indication of the growing global support for the ceasefire.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia also considered the ceasefire issue as important and the first priority in Gaza and said: "it is necessary to continue efforts for this purpose." 204
