Iran Press/ Europe: َThe two-day event will focus on cooperation between the municipalities of member countries on different international, economic, digital technology, industry, energy, urban infrastructure, transportation, environment, health, science, culture, sports, and tourism areas.
At the official ceremony of the 6th International Municipal BRICS Forum, the Vice Chairman of the Council of the Russian Federation gave a speech, and a video message by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergei Lavrov, was broadcast.
Mehdi Chamran, head of the Islamic Council of Tehran, is also present at the forum.
The first edition of the IMBRICS Forum was held in St. Petersburg in September 2019.
