Iran Press/ Europe: The 14th of Khordad 1402 (June 4, 2023) is the anniversary of the departure of the Late Imam Khomeini (RA), the great founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
On the occasion of the anniversary of Imam Khomeini's passing away, "Abu Bakr Shabanovich" stated in an exclusive interview with an Iran Press correspondent in Minsk about his character, when oppression, cruelty, and injustice boiled the blood of Iranian society, a revolution took place. A revolution that caused many changes and brought about a new look at the relations between people.
The Grand Mufti of Belarus emphasized that the revolution is led by the most progressive and elite people, and the most high-ranking elite, Ayatollah Khomeini (RA), was present in the victory of the Iranian revolution.
"Abubakr Shabanovich" noted that Ayatollah Khomeini (RA) endured many hardships such as exile, arrest, and imprisonment, and even though he was forced to leave Iran, he succeeded in uniting the people of Iran for the victory of the revolution.
Grand Mufti of Belarus stated that Ayatollah Khomeini was a great ideator and after returning to his homeland as a victorious leader, he was able to overthrow the Shah's regime with the help of the people.
The Grand Mufti of Belarus emphasized that the victory of the Iranian Islamic Revolution under the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA) is a model for all Muslims in the Middle East and the world to know how to destroy colonialism to build a country based on Islamic principles.
"Abu Bakr Shabanovich," said, Imam Khomeini (RA) showed Islamic ideas to the world in such a way that these ideas became global and remained in everyone's mind, and the masterpiece was made only by great people.
The Grand Mufti of Belarus stated that ideas like World Quds Day as a day of unity of all people and all countries of the world for the freedom and independence of Palestine are not accidental.
"Abu Bakr Shabanovich emphasized that the World Quds Day does not only refer to the Palestinian issue and it must be said, how can the ideas of a great man like Imam Khomeini (RA) change the course of history and be remembered forever in the heart of history."
