Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) says an MoU is being prepared to be finalized with Iraq to expand ICT cooperation with the country.

Iran Press/ Iran news: Isa Zarepour also told Iran Press on Wednesday that the MoU aims to develop the incorporation of the Iranian messenger platforms in Iraq.

Zarepour also talked about his recent trip to Iraq: "The development of interactions with neighboring countries, especially Iraq, was stressed which is one of our main plans in the ICT Ministry."

He said that another MoU would be signed with Iraq to facilitate the posting exchanges between the two countries. 

In Baghdad on Monday an agreement was signed between Iran's Isa Zarepour and Iraq's Hiyam al-Yaseri, the two countries will cooperate in establishing communication infrastructure, exchanging experiences in the field of cyber security and artificial intelligence, and international cooperation in the field of ICT.
